Job summary

KPIT seeks a Senior Automotive Embedded Software Engineer to design, configure and test embedded software stacks for next-gen vehicle architectures. You will configure BSW stacks, apply AUTOSAR concepts, and work with CAN/CAN FD, LIN, SPI and DoIP/UDS diagnostics across microcontroller targets.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, unit testing, debugging, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust automotive software solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional automotive embedded software development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Strong C and Embedded C programming with AUTOSAR knowledge.
• Experience with CAN/CAN FD, LIN, SPI, and DoIP/UDS diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and drive software design for embedded systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain embedded software components and tests.
• Configure and integrate BSW stacks and AUTOSAR concepts.
• Perform unit, CAN, and target MCU testing; debug and optimize.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
