Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Michigan seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to develop and maintain CAN and LIN communications using Autosar and non-Autosar, with strong C programming for automotive embedded systems.

You will develop and maintain a Diagnostic stack with UDS protocol, work independently on modules under the Marelli Domain Lead, and perform defect follow-up and rigorous testing.

Qualifications

• C programming expertise for embedded systems with high quality output (MANDATORY).
• Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and configuration.
• Experience configuring and developing CAN, LIN, Ethernet, I2C, SPI and LVDS communication protocols.
• Experience with Autosar configuration tools such as DaVinci configurator and DaVinci developer.
• Experience with Diagnostic protocol - DCM, DEM (UDS ISO 14229) and CAN TP.
• Familiarity with CDD or ODX/PDX formats.
• Proficiency with Vector tools: CANoe, CANalyzer, CANdb++, CANdela Studio.
• Experience in automotive embedded software development and EOL software development.
• Experience in Bootloader development.
• Perform unit testing and static analysis of secure software modules.
• Familiarity with MISRA coding rules.
• Experience with instrument panel cluster (IPC) is desirable.
• Knowledge of tracking tools (Jira) and version control (Git, SVN).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CAN & LIN communication using Autosar and non-Autosar with advanced knowledge of C for embedded systems.
• Develop and maintain a Diagnostic stack with UDS protocol.
• Independently work on allocated modules under Marelli Domain Lead and follow up software defects.
• Engage in intensive technical exchanges with colleagues.
