Job summary

The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Senior Autopsy Technician to join the Office of the Medical Investigator to assist pathologists with the collection of evidence and examination of decedents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience.
• An additional 4 months of related experience may substitute for 3 college credits.
• Completed degrees above the minimum education may substitute for experience year-for-year.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee technical morphology laboratory services for autopsy cases.
• Support pathologists and other technical staff.
• Train and supervise other technicians and resident physicians performing related functions.
