Job summary

The Rundown AI, Inc. is looking for an experienced engineer to join their Autonomous Pilot Integration team in Washington, DC. This hands-on role involves writing autonomy code and integrating it onto unmanned platforms across various environments including air, maritime, and space.

As a technical leader, you will oversee team deliverables, mentor engineers, and ensure successful deployment of autonomy solutions. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in C++, Linux development, and a passion for unmanned systems.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience leading a small technical team or owning a major capability from design through field delivery.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate autonomy software solutions onto unmanned platforms.
  • Lead a small feature crew or sub-program; set technical direction.
  • Act as a primary technical interface with cross-functional teams.
