Job summary

Blue River Technology, part of John Deere, is seeking an experienced product manager to lead autonomy initiatives in construction robotics, partnering with engineering and GTM teams to shape the next frontier of autonomous machines.

The role requires navigating ambiguous problems, defining MVPs, conducting rapid experiments, and aligning cross-functional teams around a bold vision. You’ll work across perception, SLAM, ODD, and machine controls.

Qualifications

• Experience as a product manager in a technology company with 5+ years.
• Strong technical competence in robotics, AI and ML systems.
• Ability to solve unstructured problems with curiosity.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Excellent communication of technical product information.

Responsibilities

• Define and shepherd the construction autonomy strategy from concept to success.
• Collaborate with Deere Product & Engineering teams to define target customers and MVP.
• Drive rapid customer-facing experiments to validate concepts.
• Develop deep customer and market understanding through research.
• Define requirements for perception, SLAM, ODD and safety systems.
• Define in-field behavior requirements: path planning, guidance, controls.
• Define system performance criteria and monitor adoption.
• Own data collection strategy and test set for model development.
• Contribute to long-term product vision and roadmap.
