True Anomaly in the space domain seeks a senior optimization engineer to design, implement, and deploy core autonomy capabilities for fleet-level planning and decision making. You will work with AI, ML, and optimization to tackle challenges in space systems at-scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; strong foundation in optimization and algorithms.
• Experience implementing optimization solvers in production systems.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts applied to decision making.
• Ability to translate complex problems into mathematical programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and validate optimization algorithms for fleet-level planning under uncertainty.
• Contribute to system architecture for large-scale distributed optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formalize requirements into mathematical programs and deploy solutions.
• Tune and validate models through simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and deployment.
• Develop production-quality implementations with documentation and testing.
