Job summary

Archer is seeking a Senior Autonomous Systems Engineer in San Jose to design and implement real-time path planning, multi-agent coordination, and onboard data pipelines for an end-to-end autonomous air mobility platform.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, CS, or Robotics with direct autonomy deployment experience.
• Production-level C++ for real-time embedded platforms; strong Python for prototyping and bindings.
• Experience designing path/motion planning, distributed coordination, and autonomous decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and mature real-time path/motion planning for single- and multi-agent systems.
• Architect data pipelines for high-rate sensor logging, telemetry, and onboard processing.
• Build and optimize communication protocols for reliable multi-agent coordination over constrained datalinks.
