Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for autonomous driving in the United States. You will develop use cases and system requirements for L3/L4 products, perform system-level analysis, allocate performance budgets, and drive test strategies at vehicle and component levels.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in safety-critical systems engineering, a strong software background (Python, SQL, C++), and an MS/PhD in Engineering, Physics, or CS.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in safety-critical systems engineering and related areas.
• Strong software development background with coding skills.
• Experience with ISO 21448 and ISO 26262 standards.
• Ability to lead and align large organizations across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop use cases and system requirements for L3/L4 autonomous driving products.
• Perform system-level analysis to define performance requirements.
• Define test cases and metrics to ensure safety and functionality.
• Define and drive online and offline test strategies at vehicle and component levels.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics, Test Engineering, and System Integration teams.
• Ensure datasets cover sufficient scenarios and requirements.
• Promote a systems engineering approach and cross-functional collaboration.
