Job summary

SRC, Inc. is seeking a Principal Aerospace Engineer with an autonomous systems background to support unmanned aerial platforms and sensor integration in DoW projects based in Albuquerque, NM.

The role requires a strong technical foundation across telemetry, position/navigation, remote sensing, and autonomous deployment of sensors. Responsibilities include systems integration, trajectory analysis, and collaboration with government and contractor teams to advance end-to-end defense programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years of development experience in aerial autonomous systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery systems development and platform integration.
• Design and evaluate autonomous systems across sensor and ground control networks.
• Analyze performance to improve range, accuracy, and reliability.
• Ensure compatibility between sensors, communications and host aircraft.
• Contribute to R&D and integration of new sensor technologies.
