Job summary

TS Tech Americas, Inc. is seeking a Product Validation Engineer to plan, coordinate, perform, and report design verification and product validation activities for automotive seating and interior products throughout the lifecycle.

You will translate requirements into DVP&Rs, support physical testing, review CAE results, and collaborate with Design Engineers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure safety, performance, quality, cost, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline related to automotive seating/interiors.
• Typically 5–7 years in automotive product development, design verification, validation or physical testing.
• Experience delivering multiple validation deliverables from planning to final reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and communicate DVP&Rs including scope, test conditions, samples, acceptance criteria, responsibilities, schedule, risks, and conclusions.
• Review customer, regulatory, internal, and supplier specs for seating/interior products and resolve conflicts.
• Develop and maintain internal and supplier technical specifications, test methods, and reporting expectations.
• Plan, perform, support, and document physical product testing with hands-on supervision as needed.
• Coordinate test technicians, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to complete validation activities safely and on schedule.
• Analyze test data, document observations, report results, risks, and recommended actions.
