Job summary

Toyota Boshoku America is seeking a Production Engineer to lead engineering efforts for polyurethane and foam production in Tier 1 automotive manufacturing. The role focuses on process development, equipment design, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver quality parts on time.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing engineering, experience in automotive interior components, and the ability to manage projects from design to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Advanced technical degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or Polymer Science/Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project budgets.
• Develop process and production preparation plans for new urethane automotive products.
• Lead supplier selection for tools and equipment sources.
• Prepare technical reports from R&D and preventative maintenance investigations.
• Coordinate technical personnel for inspections and adherence to polyurethane production procedures.
