Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support polyurethane foam processing, including R&D, process spec, optimization, QA and property testing. You will supervise day-to-day team activities and provide technical support for setup, maintenance and installation.

Qualifications include a BS in chemical, polymer or mechanical engineering with 3+ years’ polyurethane foam experience. Automotive foam pad seating experience is a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

• Hands-on maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills with employees and management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of team members and provide coaching.
• Support foam processing, QC testing and process improvements.
• Coordinate formulations and ensure production specifications.
• Maintain chemical inventory and coordinate shipments.
• Assist with engineering changes and mold optimization.
• Implement and monitor safety, preventive maintenance and EH&S programs.
