You will stay current with automotive technologies, conduct thorough inspections, and communicate with service advisors about repair needs, status, and parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational automotive training preferred.
• Extensive experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and more.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Conduct thorough inspections and identify potential problems or safety concerns.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Ensure all work is performed following industry standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair needs and status updates.
• Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
