Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while mentoring a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. Pay range is $23.00-$38.91 per hour, with a flat-rate pay model reflecting task-based earnings.

Bridgestone emphasizes training and fair compensation across its North American stores. The role requires up-to-date ASE certifications and strong communication with non-technical customers.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1 - A8 within first two years of employment.
