Job summary
Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Automotive Technician in Jackson, MS to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a small team toward high customer care. You will mentor teammates and stay current with evolving auto technologies.
The role offers a flat-rate pay model and benefits, with opportunities to obtain ASE certifications and advance in a nationwide service network.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
- Experience in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
- Reading, writing and math skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
- Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
- Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
- Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
- Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
