Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, TN seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a team toward improved customer care. You will diagnose and repair a range of systems, and explain findings to customers with clarity.

You will stay current with automotive technology through formal training, assist and train technicians, and pursue ASE certifications within two years. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to diagnose brake, hydraulic, steering and suspension systems.
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Proficient reading, writing and math for service documentation.
• Must maintain valid driver's license at all times.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain ASE certifications within two years.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, and computer systems).
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers or staff clearly.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within two years.
