Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

The role requires performing repairs across brake, hydraulic, electrical, suspensions, and more, with ongoing training and mentorship. Employees receive paid vacation, health benefits from day one, ASE certification funding, and a daily pay option.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering & suspension.
• Experience in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• ASE certification in at least one A1–A8 (L1 acceptable) preferred.
• 3 years of automotive repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical people.
• Stay current with changing automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.
