Job summary
Bridgestone Retail Operations in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to deliver quality customer care. The role uses a flat-rate pay model with regionally adjusted rates and rewards efficiency.
Responsibilities include staying current with automotive technology through paid training, training technicians, and pursuing ASE certifications.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license at all times; able to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Brakes/hydraulics or steering & suspension skills; general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
- Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people; reading/writing/math skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair to specifications (brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, electrical, suspension, A/C).
- Explain technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to customers clearly.
- Stay current with evolving automotive tech through paid formal training; mentor technicians.
- Pursue ASE certifications; company pays tests/registrations; bonuses for tests passed.
