Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician in San Antonio, TX to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and lead a small team toward better customer care. You’ll be involved in hands-on repairs and mentoring peers in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Experience in general automotive maintenance and tire repair; ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through ongoing paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years; tests paid by the company.
