Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in New Albany, IN seeks a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, lead a small team, and improve customer care and satisfaction. You will perform repairs to specifications across brakes, exhaust, ignition, suspension and A/C while explaining issues clearly to customers.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Experience with brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
