Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Senior Technician experienced in diagnosing drivability and electrical systems in Nashville. You will lead a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction, with a flat-rate pay structure reflecting task-based earnings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering, suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (fees paid by company).
