Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. based in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to raise customer care and satisfaction.

The role offers a competitive flat-rate pay structure with a broad pay range and ongoing formal training. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing components, explaining issues to customers, staying updated with evolving automotive tech, training colleagues, and pursuing ASE certifications within

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair to specifications on brakes, hydraulics, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to non-technical customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Technicians receive bonus for each test passed)
