Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and to lead a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. The position offers flat-rate pay with a pay range of $21.85–$37.62 in the Belmont region.

Qualifications

• Valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Brakes and hydraulics systems experience and/or steering & suspension/a­lignments
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair skills
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary/advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within two years (fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed).
