Job summary

Wendle Ford seeks an experienced automotive technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills to join our Ford service team in Spokane area. Ford experience not required, but Ford FAST training credits are valued and progression through Ford training is supported.

This full-time, on-site role offers earnings potential up to $130,000 annually, with many technicians earning around $80,000+. Warranties and pay differentials for specific work are noted, along with ongoing training.

Qualifications

At least two years of professional automotive repair experience.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Electrical and drivability diagnostic experience.
Ability to perform repairs independently and accurately.
Good repair-order documentation habits.
Commitment to quality workmanship.
Willingness to continue technical training.
Own basic automotive technician tools.
Valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair electrical, drivability, mechanical, and vehicle-system concerns.
Perform Ford warranty and customer-pay repairs.
Complete Ford recalls and service campaigns.
Perform scheduled maintenance and general automotive repairs.
Use Ford diagnostic equipment, technical resources, and service information.
Perform thorough vehicle inspections and identify repair needs.
Document diagnostic findings clearly.
Communicate repair needs to Service Advisors.
Complete Ford training and pursue advanced certifications.
