Job summary

Team Car Care West, LLC is seeking an Automotive Technician in Eden Prairie, MN to service guests’ vehicles with brakes, engine performance, and more. You will work in a full-time on-site role, using electronic parts catalogs and repair software to estimate parts and labor.

You bring 1–3 years of automotive experience, brake systems knowledge, and ASE certifications (A5 Brakes preferred). A high school diploma or trade school is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive experience required.
• 1-2 years of experience working on brake systems.
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in A5 - Brakes.
• ASE certifications in Engine performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning preferred.
• Automotive technical or trade school degree a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care during all operating hours.
• Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles and services.
• Keep the service center workstation clean and presentable.
• Perform complete disc or drum brake service and related repairs.
• Diagnose issues in braking and related systems (engine performance, suspension/steering, electrical, Heating & AC).
• Use computer systems to provide estimates for parts and labor (All DATA, AutoZone, O'Reilly, etc.).
