Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles to dealership and MAP standards. You’ll work with a seasoned team to maintain high-quality service within expected timeframes.

Qualifications

• Automotive technician experience required.
• ASE certifications accepted in lieu of experience.
• Ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certifications/experience.
• Performs Multi-point Inspections and repairs with accuracy.
• Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to managers, service consultants and customers.
• Documents all recommendations in the customer file.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Adheres to Sun Auto’s core values and policies.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.
