AutoNation Senior Technician in Austin, TX conducts vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, diagnosing issues and completing repairs with accuracy to build customer trust.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Automotive technical training as needed.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order and standards.
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and provide safety recommendations.
• Document work on the repair order and maintain tools inventory.
• Stay current with factory bulletins and participate in training.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
