Job summary

Triple J in Tamuning, GU 96931 is seeking an Automotive Technician B to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. You will recommend repairs and maintenance items per manufacturer policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include using advanced diagnostic tools, performing engine/transmission work, and training junior technicians as needed. The role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience or formal certifications.
• Able to anticipate and understand customers’ needs and provide viable solutions.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise.
• Ability to work as a team and independently.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems as needed.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and computerized systems during repairs.
• Perform engine overhauls, transmission and drivetrain repairs with minimal supervision.
• Explain complex repair needs and recommend corrective actions to customers.
• Maintain dealership records reflecting work performed clearly and accurately.
• Test the functionality of parts and systems after service.
• Provide direction and training to lower-level technicians and/or apprentices as assigned.
