Job summary

Burlington Automotive in the Skagit Valley is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles to the highest standards. You will work with ASE-certified expectations and use state-of-the-art equipment to provide reliable service and clear communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities include performing repairs per the repair order, explaining findings to non-technical staff, and maintaining ASE certifications while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ASE certification or equivalent experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.

• Diagnose vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants and/or customers.
• Recommends services that are necessary to keep the customer’s vehicle in running condition; properly documents all recommendations in customer file.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains appropriate ASE certifications and renewals of expiring certifications.

The Senior Automotive Technician is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers and Greg’s Automotive standards.

COMPENSATION: UP TO $55/HR FLAG - VARIES UPON EXPERIENCE

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
