Job summary

Magneti Marelli Parts & Services seeks a System Architect to lead the architecture for Automotive Displays, Clusters, Body Control & Telematics. You will model systems, map requirements, and guide hardware/software decisions across ECU domains within a global automotive environment.

You will coordinate with engineering, program management and safety teams, drive architectural governance and benchmark industry trends, ensuring modular, scalable, and safe designs for next‑gen Marelli platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of embedded product development experience in automotive ECU programs.
• Strong knowledge of embedded C/C++, RTOS, and microcontroller-based development.
• Experience on Operating Systems (OSEK, AUTOSAR).
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, SPI, Ethernet, UDS, LVDS.
• Knowledge of standards like ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434.
• Experience with architecture modeling methods and tools (EA, Simulink).
• Knowledge of automotive industrialization and DOORS.
• Exposure to multiple ECU domains and OEMs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain ECU system architecture using proper modeling rules and toolchain.
• Ensure architecture is modular, scalable, and optimized for performance, safety, and maintainability.
• Conduct design reviews and monitor technology trends for Hardware & Software.
• Serve as a decision-maker for critical technical choices and trade-offs.
• Map System Requirements to Software and Hardware blocks with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide governance to the Software team on implementation options.
• Support Functional Safety Concept and Requirements definition.
• Collaborate with Program Management, Product Engineer and Software Project Lead during customer meetings.
