Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager to drive sales and service excellence. You will lead a team, cultivate Professional Customer relationships, and ensure inventory and operations meet standards.

The role demands a strong focus on coaching, scheduling, and safety on a demanding 50–55 hour week. Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of leadership in retail, solid financial acumen, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience supervising 10–20 team members in a fast-paced retail environment.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required; valid driver’s license.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint effectively.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales goals and service objectives.
• Grow Professional Customer relationships and sales; hold team accountable to action plans.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage store team members.
• Oversee inventory and operational standards; manage on-duty duties and safety.
• Lead change management and foster an inclusive, respectful environment.
