You will use diagnostic tools, prepare repair plans with estimates, and communicate with customers. 2–3 years of hands-on automotive repair experience and an automotive tech program are preferred; ASE certifications are a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years as a Service Technician or automotive repair experience.
• Completion of an automotive technician training program.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ASE certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
• Inspect engine, transmission, brakes, electrical systems.
• Prepare repair plans with cost estimates and customer authorization.
• Repair components per manufacturer specs and service manuals.
• Test repairs to confirm functionality and safety.
• Document repairs and parts on service orders.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to customers.
• Provide accurate repair estimates and timelines; keep customers updated.
• Stay current on automotive technologies through trainings and certifications.
• Perform maintenance and repairs ranging from routine services to complex overhauls.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Conduct test drives to evaluate vehicle performance.
