Job summary

Central Automotive Group's Central Houston Nissan Dealership is seeking Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and SUVs. You will leverage diagnostic tools and mechanical skills to identify issues and perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability.

Ideal candidates have automotive systems knowledge and hands-on training, with ASE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance in a fast-paced shop.
• Repair brake and steering systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
• Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
• Repair cooling components and systems including AC.
• Perform emissions inspections and safety checks.
• Produce legible paperwork reflecting work performed.
• Read and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
