Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional services are needed and provide estimates of repair times.
• Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Pay plan based on experience
• 2+ years of Service Technician experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification required
• Qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Dexterity with a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with teammates
• Ability to learn new technologies, repair procedures, and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
