Job summary

Kendall Chevrolet of Eugene is seeking Automotive Line Technicians/Mechanics. The role offers top flat rate pay in the area ($28.00–$43.00/hr) based on experience, plus opportunities for bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Work is indoors in a well-equipped shop with a loyal customer base. Ideal candidates have at least two years of dealership or large shop experience, ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to service both automatic and manual transmissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years previous mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
• ASE certifications are preferred.
• Must be able to operate a wide variety of vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• A valid driver license and good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles; identify work needed.
• Perform adjustments, calibrations and fluid replenishment.
• Disassemble/reassemble components and repair/replace parts.
• Document work hours per policy and road-test vehicles for quality.
