Job summary

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in automotive diagnostics, embedded controls, vehicle systems, or autonomous vehicles.
• Experience with UDS / ISO 14229, DTC Management, OBD-II / SAE J1979.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.
• Hands-on experience with control algorithms, state estimators, or model-based diagnostic observers.
• Experience with unit testing, HIL testing, and automated regression testing.
• Strong understanding of fault detection, diagnostics, requirements engineering, and vehicle validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement real-time diagnostic monitors in modern C++.
• Develop plausibility checks, degradation detection, and fault isolation logic.
• Define diagnostic thresholds, debounce strategies, and fault responses.
• Develop requirements traceable to system/component failure modes.
• Perform unit, HIL, and automated regression testing.
• Validate diagnostic requirements using fleet and bench data.
