Job summary

Tuttle-Click Mazda Irvine is seeking a Master Technician to handle complex diagnostics and repairs in a professional, well-supported shop environment. You will work on advanced systems, document steps precisely, and collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair plans clearly.

Ideal candidates bring high-level automotive experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to operate efficiently in a production-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• High-level automotive technician experience required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Mazda vehicles preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a production-oriented environment.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on complex vehicle systems.
• Diagnose drivability, electrical, mechanical, and performance concerns.
• Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and service information.
• Accurately document diagnostic steps and repair work performed.
• Collaborate with service advisors to ensure clear repair explanations.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Participate in ongoing Mazda technical training as assigned.
