GreatWater Garage in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced A-Level Diagnostic Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair complex electrical and engine performance issues, including 4WD/AWD drivetrains, with a focus on accurate diagnostics and honest service.

You will work with modern tools, mentor peers, and contribute to a team that values craftsmanship, integrity, and professional growth within a growing network, with opportunities for ASE certification advancement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experienced A-Level Diagnostic Technician
• Requires state and local certifications plus valid driver's license and clean MVR
• All 8 ASE certifications preferred; willingness to earn Master ASE
• Strong diagnostic ability and pride in quality workmanship

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair advanced electrical and engine performance issues
• Diagnose fuel, ignition, and drivability systems
• Diagnose and repair 4WD/AWD drivetrain systems
• Perform advanced steering, suspension, and brake system repairs
• Perform advanced HVAC diagnostics and repair
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and provide accurate recommendations
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment
