Job summary

Luminary is hiring a Senior/Principal Lead Delivery Engineer for Automotive in San Mateo, onsite. You will own customer outcomes from discovery through deployment, coordinating a multi-discipline delivery team and leading both project and product directions.

You will work hands-on with models and data pipelines, craft SOWs, and partner with customers to co-create impactful automotive AI solutions and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in a technical role in automotive, engineering, or applied AI/ML.
• Advanced degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong Python and AI/ML workflow experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end customer outcomes across automotive accounts from discovery to deployment.
• Author SOWs and educate customers on engagement plans and delivery.
• Lead a cross-functional value delivery team and set technical direction.
• Manage sprints, milestones, risks, and product intuition for future work.
• Stay hands-on with models, data pipelines, and prototype integrations.
• Collaborate with customers to co-engineer use cases and build trust.
