Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Lead Industrial Engineer, Warehouse Design, to drive the design of scalable warehouse layouts, material handling systems, and automation concepts for diverse clients in the United States.

You will lead engineering teams through concept to detailed design, perform ROI and capacity analyses, coordinate with vendors, and integrate WMS requirements. Travel up to 50% and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of engineering experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehousing.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of design packages including layouts and material handling designs.
• Manage engineering activities during implementation including automation vendors.
• Create AutoCAD layouts and perform ROI analyses.
• Support WMS configuration documentation and slotting strategies.
• Collaborate with data analytics to analyze client data and optimize storage media.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
