Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Sr Associate for Automation Testing / Selenium / Java to build and maintain an in-house Test Automation Framework within the Credit Card line of business. You will create testing scenarios for Automated Functional Testing, End-to-End and Regression testing.

Responsibilities include designing automated tests, estimating user stories, backlog participation, and integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• 3+ years using open-source test automation tools.
• 3+ years applying BDD/BDD-like techniques (JUnit, FitNesse, Selenium, Cucumber or similar).
• 3+ years CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Maven, Git).
• 3+ years in Agile teams with ability to derive test strategy from PBRs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test cases to validate user acceptance criteria for features.
• Provide estimates for user stories using planning poker.
• Participate in backlog prioritization, story mapping and sprint demos.
• Prepare and participate in sprint reviews with stakeholders.
• Develop and implement best practices across the team for continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Technology partners to design effective UAT test plans.
• Assist in manual UAT when automation is not feasible and ensure test coverage.
• Communicate test progress, results and issues to Product and stakeholders.
• Integrate automated UAT tests with CI/CD to validate new code releases.
