MetLife’s Global Technology team is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer (Automation) to design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, batch, and data systems. This role emphasizes hands-on automation, AI-driven optimization, and collaboration with product, development, DevOps, and release stakeholders to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.

Location: hybrid; salary range is $80,000–$125,000 with potential incentives.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5+ years in software testing with a focus on automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java and C#.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate test development and defect analysis.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub for pipelines and test management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Write and maintain automated tests in Java and C#.
• Develop AI optimization Agents, Skills, and Instructions for automation.
• Guide product teams to create test plans and strategies.
• Troubleshoot issues using logs and monitoring to identify root causes.
