Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc. is seeking an Automation Solutions Consultant to lead client projects across industries from concept to commissioning.

You will act as a senior technical authority, designing architectures, configuring control systems, and delivering detailed scopes of work, cost estimates, and proofs of concept. Travel to client sites is expected as needed, with strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Senior technical authority with 7+ years in automation projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs and other engineering drawings.
• Design and implement industrial automation systems.
• Proven project management and leadership experience.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
• Willingness to learn and mentor others.
• Background in Electrical Engineering or Controls related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management, estimation, control system design and programming.
• Serve as primary technical liaison between customer and company.
• Architect and implement complex automation and control solutions.
• Develop scopes of work, proposals and cost estimates.
• Travel to client facilities for technical and sales support.
• Stay current with automation trends and best practices.
