Job summary

Sharp Packaging Solutions, part of UDG Healthcare plc, seeks a Senior Serialization and Electrical Engineer to join the electrical engineering/serialization group. You will design, program, document, qualify and configure control systems and serialization solutions for packaging operations.

Bring hands-on expertise with PLCs/HMIs, vision systems, process analytics, master data configuration and IT/OT networking.

Qualifications

10+ years of pharmaceutical packaging, electrical controls and serialization experience.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Creates electrical schematics, control panel layouts and designs components for industrial and serialization controls.
Designs, creates, implements and supports qualification of PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, barcode verifiers and drives.
Familiarity with field instrumentation and machine safety designs.
Interfaces with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure compliance and data integrity across Sharp systems.
Executes equipment installation and commissioning activities and supports validation groups with respect to qualification.
Generates reports based on EPCIS site data for analysis and compliance.
Authors GMP documentation such as SOPs, Work Instructions and Master Data Configurations.
