Job summary
Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer L1 in Boston to design, develop, and implement automation frameworks that ensure reliable digital solutions. You will partner with product and engineering teams to drive testability, automate repetitive checks, and accelerate software delivery through CI/CD pipelines.
The role emphasizes hands-on scripting with Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, API testing, and cloud/DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in automation testing with proven framework design.
- Hands-on with Selenium, Cypress or Appium.
- API testing experience with Postman or Rest Assured.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks to support continuous testing and delivery.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure testability of features and applications.
- Implement best practices for test automation, including data-driven and behavior-driven testing.
- Identify and prioritize test cases for automation to maximize coverage and efficiency.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines for seamless testing and deployment.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in automation testing techniques and tools.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in automation testing and quality engineering.
