Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer L1 focused on automation to design, implement, and optimize testing frameworks for digital solutions. You will partner with product and development teams to ensure testability, reliability, and rapid delivery of high‑quality software.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of automation testing experience, with Java/Python/JavaScript proficiency and hands-on use of Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, plus API testing expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Proficient in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Proficient in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize test cases for automation to maximize coverage and efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in automation testing.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in automation testing techniques.

Senior Quality Engineer L1

As a Senior Quality Engineer L1, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of digital solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive automation best practices, enhance testing efficiency, and accelerate the delivery of high-quality software.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing, with expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Set Yourself Apart With

• Experience in cloud-based testing using tools like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Certifications in automation testing (ISTQB, Selenium, or similar).
• Experience in mobile automation testing for iOS and Android platforms.
