Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Inc. is hiring an SQA Analyst III to advance test automation across our Digital organization, supporting web and mobile applications, browsers, and integrated platforms.

You will build scalable automation with Selenium WebDriver and Java, automate API validation, and support AI-augmented testing within agile teams. The role is remote-first, with final on-site interviews in Chattanooga, TN; occasional after-hours validation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology/software engineering or equivalent work experience in software industry.
• Equivalent experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment.
• 3+ years in Software Quality Assurance (SQA) or minimum 2 years in the SQA Analyst I role.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server or equivalent databases.
• 3+ years testing applications with API/web services; backend/file processing interfaces.
• 3+ years in test automation or performance testing; troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare testing strategy and test plans; perform end-to-end validation coordinating with multiple teams.
• Gather requirements from internal/external customers and review testing artifacts.
• Estimate small to medium projects and identify gaps in requirements.
• Design test scenarios and cases; define data requirements and create test data.
• Hands-on experience with functional and performance automation tools.
• Promote improvements to QA standards and collaborate with product teams on test delivery artifacts.
