Job summary

KONE is seeking an experienced Software Test professional to drive verification, validation, and automation efforts across multi‑platform environments. You will design and maintain test cases, set up environments, and coordinate bug resolution with partners, contributing to timely releases and quality product delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in software testing or development, strong Python skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in SW engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years SW testing or development experience.
• Ability to write and maintain automation test scripts with Python.
• Knowledge of cross‑platform environments: Linux, Windows, Android, and networks.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Nice to have testing leadership/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive testing activity for project verification and validation, ensuring quality across performance, usability, and security.
• Automate tests, build test cases, and analyze results.
• Plan tests according to project requirements across phases.
• Design and maintain test cases per solution requirements.
• Set up and maintain test environments and scripts.
• Implement tests and report results on time.
• Identify, track, and drive resolution of bugs/issues.
• Support software releases and project management.
• Coordinate development and bug fixes with KONE’s partners & suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally and locally.
