You will collaborate with engineers, product owners, and designers across UI, API, and backend domains to design comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks.

The role emphasizes building scalable automation, shifting left in testing, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• 3+ years of automated test development for web/mobile/API/backend.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Strong experience testing REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with contract testing frameworks like Pact.
• Familiarity with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and service-to-service testing.
• Experience with Selenium and/or Appium.
• Strong API testing tooling knowledge (Postman, REST Assured, GraphQL).
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test strategies and plans across UI, API, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to define coverage and quality goals.
• Build, maintain, and scale automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Design testing infrastructure for automated service validation and backend focus.
• Improve QA practices by introducing standards, tools, and processes.
• Develop reusable test utilities, APIs, and libraries for automation.
• Maintain and enhance existing test frameworks for scalability and performance.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive timely resolutions.
• Support release readiness with feature validation and quality risk assessments.
