Job summary

PRE-TEC is seeking a Project Manager to lead custom integration projects from handoff through customer acceptance. You will manage Project Engineers and Project Specialists, coordinating engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, installation, and customer activities to deliver on time and within budget.

You will guide priorities, resources, risks, and communications, ensuring safety and compliance while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in automation, manufacturing, machine building, integration, or related industry.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and custom or engineered-to-order projects.
• Industrial automation, robotics, or systems integration.
• Strong understanding of engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and installation processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and project management tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from handoff through engineering, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, installation, commissioning, and acceptance.
• Establish project priorities, milestones, schedules, and execution plans.
• Monitor project progress, risks, resources, costs, and customer commitments.
• Develop recovery plans for delayed or at-risk projects.
• Coordinate activities across departments to maintain project momentum.
• Maintain accurate schedules, documentation, action items, and status reports.
• Lead project review meetings and communicate updates to leadership.
